The Sylvestre Petal Glass Brass Wall Lamp opens a fluted glass shade into a ruffled petal rim, seated in a cast leaf cup on a solid brass arm. The backplate is a long shield of scrolled acanthus, tapering to a point at both ends so the fixture reads as a carved panel rather than a bracket screwed to the wall.
Choose a single fixture for a focused accent, or a Set of 2 to frame a bed, mirror, or entryway. A Set of 2 includes two complete lights, individually packaged and shipped together in one order.

Where does this one differ?
The glass is pressed with a radiating sunburst in its base and ribbed up its sides, so light leaves brightest through the centre and softens as it climbs toward the open rim. Available as a single light (W 5.9″ × H 12.6″ × D 4.7″) or a twin (W 15″ × H 12.6″ × D 2.8″) in solid brass with clear glass, for hardwired wall installation. Takes E12/E14 candelabra bulbs (not included; 3000K warm white suits it best).

Set either side of a tall mirror at roughly eye level, where light falls across the face rather than down onto it. The shade opens upward, so the glow lifts toward the ceiling and reflects back off the wall — enough to work by without the flat glare of a downlight. A pair reads as part of the panelling; a single reads as an accent.

The narrow one. Mounted above a nightstand it frees the surface below, and the upward shade keeps the light out of the sleeper's eyeline. Typically hung about 60 in. from the floor, or just above the headboard.

Two singles flanking a mirror, spaced roughly 28–36 in. apart depending on the mirror's width. Side lighting at face height is what makes this arrangement work — one fixture above the glass won't do the same job.

The wide one, and the shallowest — it projects less than 3 in. from the wall, which is what makes it usable in a corridor where anything deeper would catch a shoulder. Along a long wall, space them 6 to 8 ft apart so the pools of light overlap rather than sit as separate spots.
One or Two
The same wall, the same light — and two completely different rooms
One
Light arrives from one side, and the room keeps its shadows.
A single fixture is an accent, not a scheme. The glow leans across the wall in one direction, catching the gilt on one edge of the frame and letting the other edge fall away. Faces are modelled rather than evenly lit — a little dramatic, a little candlelit. It suits a wall that already has something to say, where you want one warm point and nothing more.
Two
Light arrives from both sides, and the wall becomes architecture.
Matched left and right, the two fixtures stop reading as objects hung on a wall and start reading as part of it — as though the mirror were built between them. The shadows cancel, the glass on both sides glows at the same strength, and the whole arrangement settles into symmetry. This is the version people photograph.
A narrow wall, a corner, a single nightstand — one is enough. Anything with a centre to it wants two.
